The Shure SLXD4Q+=-G57 is a four-channel digital wireless receiver for professional microphone systems. It consolidates four independent wireless channels into a single rack space, helping venues and production teams reduce rack clutter while maintaining separate audio paths. This standalone receiver is intended for use with compatible Shure SLX-D+ or legacy SLX-D transmitters.

Designed for installed sound, live performance, conferences, houses of worship, broadcast support, and rental applications, the SLXD4Q+ provides the receiving and system-management side of a wireless microphone setup. Its G57 tuning band operates from 470 to 608 MHz, delivering a 138 MHz tuning range. Actual legal frequencies and available spectrum depend on local regulations and the RF environment.

The receiver uses 24-bit digital audio with a specified 118 dB dynamic range and a 20 Hz to 20 kHz audio frequency response. A 2.8 ms system latency supports use in live sound and presentation environments where responsive audio monitoring matters. Adjustable output gain, selectable mic or line XLR output level, and a switchable high-pass filter help match the receiver to mixers, DSP systems, and installed audio equipment.

Each channel has its own balanced XLR and 1/4-inch output, while the audio-summing function can combine channels into four, three, two, or one output grouping to suit the available mixer inputs. The standard SLXD4Q+ version includes local Ethernet connections for networked management and control; Dante audio networking is available only on the separate SLXD4QDAN+ model. AES-256 encryption, digital feedback reduction software, and predictive switching diversity support secure, stable operation.

The SLXD4Q+ is an expandable platform for systems that need more than four wireless channels. RF cascade ports allow up to three SLXD4Q+ receivers to be linked for a 12-channel receiver system without additional RF distribution accessories. ShowLink Ease enables compatible linked transmitter parameters to be adjusted remotely from the receiver, and Shure Wireless Workbench can be used for system monitoring and coordination.

Key Features

  • Four-Channel Receiver: Handles four independent wireless audio channels in one rack-space chassis.
  • G57 Frequency Band: Tunes from 470 to 608 MHz for a 138 MHz range.
  • 24-Bit Digital Audio: Delivers wide dynamic range and low 2.8 ms system latency.
  • Flexible Analog Outputs: Provides four balanced XLR and four balanced 1/4-inch outputs.
  • Audio Summing: Combines channels into four, three, two, or one output grouping.
  • RF Cascade Expansion: Links up to three receivers for a 12-channel receiving system.

Design & Installation

The SLXD4Q+ uses a galvanized-steel enclosure with a compact 42 x 393 x 152 mm chassis. Its front panel includes a display, control knob, sync controls, infrared sync port, and power control for direct access during setup. The rear panel provides BNC antenna connections, cascade connections, analog audio outputs, and Ethernet ports.

Mount the receiver in a standard equipment rack using the included brackets and hardware, then connect the included quarter-wave antennas or remotely mounted compatible antennas. Connect each receiver output to a mixer, DSP, or audio interface with balanced XLR or 1/4-inch cabling, and use Ethernet for supported networked setup and management. Compatible transmitters are required and should be selected for an appropriate, authorized frequency range.
