A factory radio feeds your speakers around 15 watts. A 4 channel amp gives them real power, so the music stays clean and open instead of harsh once you turn it up.

Door speakers physically cannot make deep bass. An 8 to 12 inch sub in a sealed or ported box covers everything underneath them, and it makes the rest of the system sound bigger too.

The last step is tuning. A DSP gives you time alignment, crossovers and real EQ, so the system is set up for the seat you actually sit in instead of the middle of the car.
