Products & fitment
Will this fit my vehicle?
Use the vehicle selector on the site, check the Compatibility notes on the product page, or just ask us, send your year/make/model and we'll confirm fit and anything else you'll need (harnesses, dash kits, mounting brackets).
What's the difference between RMS and peak power?
RMS is continuous, real-world power, the number to match between speakers and amplifiers. Peak is a short burst maximum. We list both in product specifications.
Do you sell marine and powersports audio?
Yes, marine-rated speakers, amps, and head units built for boats, motorcycles, UTVs, and golf carts.
Pro audio
Do you carry pro audio / studio equipment?
Yes, alongside car audio we now stock professional audio gear: PreSonus and KRK studio monitors, Mackie Thump powered PA loudspeakers, Mackie mixers, and Mogami cables.
What's the difference between balanced and unbalanced cables?
Balanced cables (XLR, TRS) use an extra conductor to cancel electrical noise, use them for microphones, monitors, and any run longer than about 10 feet. Unbalanced (TS, RCA) is fine for short runs like guitar-to-pedal or desktop gear; that's what instrument cables and patch cables are.
Powered or passive PA speakers, which do I need?
Powered speakers have the amplifier built in, plug a mixer straight in and play. That's the right answer for most bands, DJs, and venues, and it's what our Mackie Thump PA lineup is. Passive speakers need a separate amp, which mainly makes sense in permanent installs.
What size studio monitors should I get for my room?
Desk in a small or untreated room: 5" woofers. Larger or treated rooms: 6.5"–8". Bigger isn't better in a small room, excess bass energy just muddies your mix. Browse studio monitors or ask us with your room dimensions.
Are Mogami cables really worth it?
If you record or gig, yes, Mogami is the wiring standard in professional studios for a reason: high-purity copper, dense shielding, and connectors that survive years of use. For a 3-foot hop between desktop gear, a basic cable works; for anything you rely on, buy once. See pro audio cables.
