Mogami PLATINUM STUDIO 50 50-Foot XLR Microphone Cable $259.95
Bundle total: $1,138.95

The Shure SLXD14+/SM35-G57 is a complete digital wireless headset system for hands-free vocal reinforcement in live performance, presentations, worship, education, and installed sound. It pairs an SLXD4+ single-channel receiver with an SLXD1+ bodypack transmitter and SM35 cardioid headset condenser microphone. The G57 version operates across the 470–608 MHz frequency range.

This system is designed for performers and presenters who need mobility while keeping their voice clearly routed to a mixer, PA system, or installed audio system. The SM35 headset keeps the microphone positioned close to the mouth, while its cardioid pickup pattern helps reduce unwanted stage bleed. Its flexible boom allows practical positioning for consistent speech and vocal capture.

SLX-D+ uses 24-bit digital audio with a specified dynamic range greater than 118 dB and 2.8 ms system latency. The receiver includes a selectable high-pass filter and balanced XLR and 1/4-inch audio outputs for connection to professional sound equipment. Shure Digital Feedback Reducer software is built into the receiver to help reduce unwanted feedback when it occurs.

For RF operation, the G57 system provides a 138 MHz tuning range and supports up to 11 simultaneous systems in 6 MHz TV bands or up to 14 in 8 MHz TV bands. Automatic Setup keeps linked SLX-D+ receivers and transmitters connected while managing available frequencies. AES-256 encryption is included for secure wireless audio transmission.

The system can be monitored and controlled through Shure Wireless Workbench desktop software or the WWB Mobile app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. ShowLink Ease enables remote adjustments to linked transmitter settings from the receiver, including frequency, RF power, control locks, and firmware updates. The included bodypack runs for up to eight hours on two AA batteries, with optional Shure SB903 rechargeable battery support.

Key Features

  • G57 Wideband Operation: Covers 470–608 MHz for broad UHF frequency access.
  • 24-Bit Digital Audio: Delivers transparent wireless audio with greater than 118 dB dynamic range.
  • SM35 Cardioid Headset: Helps reject off-axis sound in active performance settings.
  • Digital Feedback Reducer: Receiver software automatically helps reduce unwanted feedback.
  • ShowLink Ease: Supports remote transmitter control from the linked receiver.
  • Flexible System Management: Works with Wireless Workbench and the WWB Mobile app.

Design & Installation

The SLXD4+ receiver uses a galvanized-steel housing and a compact half-rack-width form factor, with rackmount hardware included. The SLXD1+ bodypack uses a PC/ABS housing and a fixed quarter-wave antenna. The lightweight SM35 headset has a wireframe headband, flexible gooseneck, TA4F connector, and snap-fit foam windscreens.

Connect the receiver to a mixer or sound system using its balanced XLR or balanced 1/4-inch output, then connect the supplied power supply and install the two included antennas. Use the receiver's IR sync function to link the bodypack, and set the headset boom near the corner of the mouth rather than directly in front of it. For permanent or multi-system deployments, use the included rack hardware and network the receiver through its Ethernet port for control and coordination.
