The Shure MoveMic Two Receiver Kit is a two-channel wireless lavalier microphone system for recording two people without tethering them to a camera or phone. It includes two compact MoveMic clip-on microphones, a charging case, and the MoveMic Receiver. The system is suited to interviews, podcasts, social video, livestreams, mobile journalism, and other two-person productions.

Each MoveMic is designed to capture speech with a balanced, clear presentation while remaining small enough for discreet placement on clothing. The microphones provide a 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, 24-bit audio, and 48 kHz sampling. With support for up to two microphone channels, the kit helps keep separate voices available in a portable recording setup.

The included MoveMic Receiver expands connectivity beyond direct phone recording. It connects to cameras, computers, and compatible mobile devices through USB-C or 3.5 mm TRS output. For direct-to-phone operation without the receiver, MoveMic works with compatible iOS or Android devices through Shure MOTIV Audio or MOTIV Video apps.

Shure combines a custom acoustic design with proprietary wireless software for compact wireless recording. The system operates in the 2.4 GHz band and offers a stated line-of-sight range of up to 100 feet. Gain can be adjusted across a 0 to 60 dB range, while the MOTIV apps offer access to gain, limiter, EQ, compression, and noise-reduction controls.

This kit is a practical fit for creators who need to move between phone, camera, and computer workflows. Each microphone provides up to eight hours of direct-to-phone runtime, while the charging case stores two additional full microphone charges for up to 24 hours of recording on the go. The receiver is charged separately and can be mounted in a camera-oriented setup using its compact form factor.

Design & Installation

The MoveMic lavaliers use black PC/ABS thermoplastic housings and a hybrid microphone-and-clip design for low-profile wear. Each microphone is rated IPX4 for resistance to rain, spills, and splashes. The receiver and charging case also use black PC/ABS housings, while the receiver has a compact 52.8 x 67 x 19 mm footprint.

Clip each microphone to clothing, charge the microphones in the included case, and pair them either with the MoveMic Receiver or directly to a compatible phone using the Shure MOTIV Audio or MOTIV Video app. Connect the receiver to a camera through its 3.5 mm TRS output or to a computer or mobile device through USB-C. Direct-to-phone microphone pairing is intended for use with Shure MOTIV apps; use the receiver for compatibility with cameras and third-party or native mobile apps.
