The Shure GLXD14R+/93-Z3 is a single-channel digital wireless lavalier system built for presenters, educators, worship leaders, broadcasters, and installed sound applications. It combines the GLXD4R+ half-rack receiver, GLXD1+ bodypack transmitter, and WL93 miniature omnidirectional lavalier microphone. The system provides a compact, rack-ready way to place a clear speech microphone on a speaker without a tethered mic cable.
The included WL93 lavalier is designed for spoken-word use, with an omnidirectional pickup pattern that supports natural placement on clothing. Its small profile helps keep the microphone visually discreet for presentations, video, theater, and sound reinforcement. The bodypack connects to the lavalier through Shure's four-pin TA4M input.
GLX-D+ uses Shure proprietary digital wireless transmission across the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands on this Z3 version. Automatic frequency management monitors available spectrum and can move the system away from interference without interrupting audio. The receiver provides both balanced XLR and 1/4-inch audio outputs for connection to mixers, processors, recorders, or amplification systems.
The rechargeable SB904 lithium-ion battery powers the GLXD1+ bodypack for up to 11.5 hours under specified conditions. It can be charged in the compatible GLX-D+ receiver or through USB-C charging provisions. Receiver display information includes transmitter battery runtime, audio level, gain, group, channel, and RF status.
Its half-rack steel receiver chassis and included rack-mount hardware make this system suitable for portable racks and fixed AV installations. For larger GLX-D+ installations, the receiver can be used with the optional GLX-D+ Frequency Manager and compatible remote antenna accessories. This Z3 system is not backward compatible with original GLX-D or GLX-D Advanced components.

Design & Installation
The GLXD4R+ receiver uses a steel housing sized for half-rack installation, while the GLXD1+ bodypack combines aluminum-alloy and ABS construction. The receiver uses two detachable dual-band half-wave sleeve-dipole antennas, and the bodypack uses an internal dual-band monopole antenna. The WL93 is a subminiature electret-condenser lavalier with a discreet body-worn format.
Mount the receiver in a rack with the included hardware or install it on a stable surface with clear antenna placement. Connect the XLR or 1/4-inch receiver output to a mixer, amplifier, recorder, or DSP input, then attach the WL93 to the GLXD1+ bodypack and pair the transmitter to the receiver. For multi-system installations or remote antenna placement, use compatible optional GLX-D+ frequency-management and antenna accessories.
