Mogami PLATINUM STUDIO 50 50-Foot XLR Microphone Cable $259.95
Bundle total: $1,128.95

The Shure SLXD24+/B58-G57 is a single-channel digital wireless handheld microphone system for vocals, presentations, houses of worship, live events, and installed sound. It combines an SLXD4+ rack receiver with an SLXD2+ handheld transmitter fitted with a Beta 58A supercardioid dynamic capsule. The G57 version operates in the 470–608 MHz frequency range.

This system is suited to performers and presenters who need a wireless vocal microphone with practical receiver control and dependable signal management. Its Beta 58A capsule uses a supercardioid pickup pattern to focus on the intended voice while reducing pickup from off-axis sound sources. The digital wireless platform delivers 24-bit audio with a specified dynamic range greater than 118 dB.

SLX-D+ is designed to help manage changing RF environments without making routine setup unnecessarily complex. The receiver supports automatic setup, frequency scanning, interference management options, and remote transmitter adjustment through ShowLink Ease. AES-256 audio encryption is included for protected wireless transmission.

The SLXD4+ receiver provides balanced XLR and balanced 1/4-inch audio outputs for connection to a mixer, powered speaker system, amplifier, or other professional audio equipment. Wireless Workbench desktop software and the WWB Mobile app can be used to monitor receiver and transmitter parameters, with Bluetooth Low Energy available for mobile-device connectivity. A built-in digital feedback reduction function is also provided at the receiver.

The included handheld transmitter runs on two included AA batteries for up to eight hours of use, or it can use an optional Shure SB903 rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The system ships with receiver antennas, a rackmount kit, power supply, microphone clip, and carrying pouch. It can serve as a complete one-microphone wireless channel or as part of a larger SLX-D+ deployment.

Key Features

  • Beta 58A Capsule: Supercardioid dynamic vocal capsule helps focus pickup on the performer.
  • 24-Bit Digital Audio: Provides clear wireless audio with greater than 118 dB dynamic range.
  • G57 Frequency Band: Operates across the 470–608 MHz tuning range.
  • ShowLink Ease: Enables linked-transmitter adjustments remotely from the receiver.
  • AES-256 Encryption: Protects the wireless audio path between paired devices.
  • Digital Feedback Reduction: Receiver-based processing helps reduce unwanted feedback frequencies.

Design & Installation

The SLXD4+ receiver uses a galvanized-steel housing sized for rack installation, while the SLXD2+ handheld transmitter has an aluminum housing. The handheld incorporates an integrated single-band helical antenna, and the Beta 58A microphone design includes a hardened steel grille. A rackmount kit and two quarter-wave receiver antennas are included.

Mount the receiver in a rack or place it where its antennas have a clear practical RF path to the performer area, then connect its balanced XLR or 1/4-inch output to a mixer, amplifier, or powered sound system. Install the included AA batteries in the transmitter, connect the receiver power supply, and link the transmitter and receiver using IR sync. Select mic or line output level at the receiver to match the input of the connected audio equipment.
