The sE Electronics V7 WHITE is a wired handheld dynamic microphone designed for vocals, speech, broadcasting, podcasting, and close-miked instruments. Its supercardioid pickup pattern helps focus on the intended source while reducing pickup from surrounding stage sound. It connects through a standard 3-pin male XLR output.

This microphone is suited to performers, presenters, content creators, and engineers who need a durable handheld mic with a focused directional pattern. The V7 WHITE uses a dynamic DMC7 capsule, so it does not require external power to operate. Its frequency range extends from 40 Hz to 19 kHz.

The V7 WHITE is voiced around a specialized aluminum voice coil and neodymium magnet assembly. This combination is designed to provide a clear, open sound character while retaining the practical durability associated with a dynamic handheld microphone. Its 2.0 mV/Pa sensitivity and 300-ohm electrical impedance make it appropriate for common XLR microphone inputs.

A patented integrated shockmount decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration to reduce handling noise. The internal windscreen helps reduce wind noise and plosive sounds, and the included spare white windscreen can be installed for an all-white appearance. These details make the microphone useful for active stage performance as well as spoken-word recording.

The V7 WHITE can be used directly with a mixer, audio interface, microphone preamp, or PA system that provides an XLR microphone input. It is supplied with a microphone clip, thread adapter, spare white internal windscreen, and carrying pouch. Its white finish offers a visual alternative to the standard V7 while retaining the same core microphone format.

Design & Installation

The V7 WHITE has an all-metal design with a zinc-alloy chassis, white finish, and spring-steel mesh grille. Its beveled grille edge is intended to help prevent the microphone from rolling when set down. The grille is designed to resist dents and corrosion.

Connect the microphone's 3-pin male XLR connector to a compatible XLR microphone cable, then connect that cable to a mixer, interface, preamp, or PA input.
