Mogami PLATINUM STUDIO 50 50-Foot XLR Microphone Cable $259.95
Bundle total: $1,178.95

The Shure SLXD14+/85M-G57 is a single-channel digital wireless lavalier microphone system for clear, hands-free speech reinforcement. It combines the SLXD4+ rackmount receiver, SLXD1+ bodypack transmitter, and WL185m low-profile cardioid lavalier microphone in one matched package. It is designed for presenters, educators, worship services, corporate events, and other installed or portable sound applications.

The included WL185m condenser lavalier uses a cardioid pickup pattern to focus on the person wearing it while helping reduce sound arriving from the sides and rear. Its low-profile form factor clips neatly to clothing, making it suited to presentations where a handheld microphone would be impractical. The supplied tie clip and snap-fit windscreen support a tidy, ready-to-use setup.

SLX-D+ delivers 24-bit digital audio with 118 dB of dynamic range and 2.8 ms latency. The receiver provides balanced XLR and balanced 1/4-inch audio outputs for connection to mixers, powered speakers, DSP systems, or installed audio equipment. A selectable high-pass filter can help reduce low-frequency handling noise and rumble when needed.

The G57 version operates from 470 to 608 MHz, providing a 138 MHz tuning range for frequency coordination across a wide portion of the UHF spectrum. The system supports automatic setup and offers a stated working range of up to 100 m (328 ft), subject to RF conditions and obstacles. AES-256 encryption is installed for secure wireless audio transmission.

For expanded control, the SLXD4+ receiver supports Ethernet networking, Wireless Workbench desktop software, and WWB Mobile control via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth workflows. Shure Digital Feedback Reducer processing is built into the receiver to help address unwanted feedback. The system can run for up to eight hours on the included pair of AA batteries, with optional SB903 rechargeable batteries available for rechargeable operation.

  • Secure Wireless Transmission: AES-256 encryption is installed on all SLX-D+ components.
  • Networked System Control: Supports Wireless Workbench, WWB Mobile, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth workflows.

Design & Installation

The SLXD4+ receiver uses a galvanized-steel housing sized for tabletop use or rack installation with the included rackmount hardware. The SLXD1+ bodypack has a PC/ABS housing and a compact profile for clothing or belt placement. The included WL185m is a low-profile condenser lavalier with a TA4F connector, black finish, tie clip, and windscreen.

Connect the receiver to a mixer, powered speaker, DSP processor, or other audio system through its balanced XLR or balanced 1/4-inch output. Place the two included quarter-wave antennas on the receiver, then link and set up the transmitter and receiver before use. For speech applications, clip the lavalier approximately 6 to 10 inches from the talker's mouth and use the receiver gain control to set a clean operating level.
