The sE Electronics V7MC1STMP3 is a replacement dynamic microphone capsule designed to bring the V7 vocal sound to compatible Shure wireless handheld transmitters. It is intended for singers, presenters, worship leaders, and other performers who use a Shure handheld wireless system with an interchangeable capsule. The included MP03 protective pouch and thread cover help keep the capsule protected between performances and during transport.

This capsule uses a supercardioid pickup pattern to focus on the intended vocal source while reducing sound arriving from the sides. Its 40 Hz to 19 kHz frequency range and aluminum voice coil are designed for detailed, open vocal reproduction. The pattern also supports useful isolation from nearby stage sound in live-performance setups.

The V7 MC1 uses a dynamic capsule with a neodymium magnet and 300-ohm electrical impedance. Its specified sensitivity is 2.0 mV/Pa (-54 dBV), making it a passive capsule intended to work as part of the connected wireless transmitter system. It does not include a wireless transmitter, receiver, or audio cable.

An integrated shockmount decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration to help reduce handling noise. The internal windscreen helps control wind noise and plosive sounds, and this package includes both black and red internal windscreens for a customized appearance. Gold-plated contacts provide the electrical connection to the compatible transmitter body.

The V7 MC1 is built for a practical wireless-vocal upgrade path: remove the existing compatible Shure capsule and install this model on the transmitter body. It is compatible with Shure handheld transmitters using the applicable interchangeable-capsule connection, except BLX and GLX-D series transmitters. Its compact 54 mm diameter and 92 mm length retain the familiar proportions of a handheld wireless microphone head.

Design & Installation

The V7 MC1 uses an all-metal construction with a durable zinc-alloy chassis and beveled spring-steel grille. The grille is designed to resist dents and corrosion, while its beveled shape helps reduce rolling when the microphone is placed on a flat surface. A switchable internal windscreen and integrated shockmount are built into the capsule assembly.

Install the V7 MC1 by removing the existing capsule from a compatible Shure handheld transmitter and threading this capsule into place. Confirm transmitter compatibility before purchase; it is not compatible with Shure BLX or GLX-D series transmitters. Use the included thread cover and MP03 pouch when the capsule is removed from the transmitter or stored for travel.
