The sE Electronics V7MC1GOMP3 is a gold-finish replacement microphone capsule designed to bring the V7 dynamic vocal microphone platform to compatible Shure handheld wireless transmitters. It is intended for singers, presenters, worship leaders, and live-sound users who want to change the sound and handling characteristics of an existing wireless handheld system. This capsule is not a complete wireless microphone and requires a compatible transmitter body.

At its core is the DMC7 dynamic capsule with an aluminum voice coil, a supercardioid pickup pattern, and a 40 Hz to 19 kHz frequency range. The supercardioid pattern is designed to focus on the intended voice while reducing pickup from surrounding stage sound. Its response is suited to live vocals and speech applications where intelligibility and controlled off-axis pickup are important.

The V7 MC1 uses a patented integrated shockmount system that isolates the capsule from mechanical vibration. This helps reduce handling noise created when the transmitter is moved during a performance or presentation. A replaceable internal windscreen is also included to help reduce wind noise and plosive sounds.

Its road-oriented construction combines a durable zinc-alloy housing with an all-metal beveled spring-steel grille.
