The V7 SWITCH uses sE Electronics' DMC7 dynamic capsule with an aluminum voice coil and neodymium magnet. Its specified 40 Hz to 19 kHz frequency range and 2.0 mV/Pa sensitivity support vocal and instrument capture with a detailed, open character. A 300-ohm electrical impedance makes it appropriate for common mixers, mic preamps, audio interfaces, and stage snakes with XLR microphone inputs.

A recessed, lockable on/off switch uses a reed element for click-free operation. This provides convenient muting control while helping reduce the chance of an accidental switch movement during a performance. The patented integrated shockmount decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration to help reduce handling noise.

The V7 SWITCH is built for repeated handheld use with an all-metal zinc-alloy housing, gold-plated XLR connector, and a spring-steel mesh grille. Its beveled grille edge is designed to help keep the microphone from rolling when placed on a flat surface. A spare black internal windscreen, mic clip, thread adapter, zipper pouch, and documentation are included for a complete basic setup.

The V7 SWITCH has an all-metal, zinc-alloy housing with a gold-plated 3-pin XLR connector. Its spring-steel mesh grille has a beveled edge, while the capsule is supported by sE Electronics' patented integrated shockmount. The microphone measures 54 mm in diameter, 184 mm long, and weighs 305 g.

Connect the microphone's 3-pin male XLR output to a compatible mixer, audio interface, microphone preamp, or stage snake using an XLR microphone cable. Secure it in the included mic clip or use the included thread adapter with a compatible stand. For handheld vocals or speech, position the grille close to the source and use the supercardioid pattern thoughtfully when placing stage monitors.
