Based on the V7 X platform, this capsule is suited to amplified instruments as well as vocal sources. Its 30 Hz to 19 kHz frequency range is designed to capture detailed upper frequencies alongside substantial low-frequency content. The supercardioid pickup pattern focuses on the source in front of the microphone while helping reduce pickup from surrounding stage sound.

The V7 MC1 X uses a dynamic capsule with an aluminum voice coil and neodymium magnet. This combination is paired with a specialized acoustic design intended for a clear, open response. The capsule also uses a patented integrated shockmount to help reduce handling vibration, footfall noise, and rumble.

For live reinforcement, the supercardioid pattern can help improve isolation from monitors and nearby instruments when microphone placement is managed correctly. Design & Installation

Installation requires a compatible Shure handheld transmitter with a user-replaceable capsule interface; BLX and GLX-D series transmitters are not supported.
