The sE Electronics V7 MC1 is a dynamic wireless microphone capsule designed to bring the V7 vocal sound to compatible Shure handheld wireless transmitters. It is intended for singers, presenters, and live-sound users who want to change the capsule on an existing wireless handheld rather than replace the complete system. The capsule itself is not a transmitter or receiver, so it works as part of a Shure wireless microphone setup.

Its supercardioid pickup pattern focuses on the performer while helping reduce pickup from surrounding stage sound. This can be useful in monitor-heavy environments, on busy stages, and for speech applications where vocal focus is important. The V7 MC1 is voiced around a specialized aluminum voice coil for detailed high-frequency response and natural vocal reproduction.

The V7 MC1 uses a dynamic capsule with a neodymium magnet, a 40 Hz to 19 kHz frequency range, and 2.0 mV/Pa sensitivity. Its 300-ohm electrical impedance is specified for its intended wireless-transmitter application. The capsule retains the V7 platform's attention to off-axis control, handling-noise reduction, wind-noise reduction, and plosive management.

A patented integrated shockmount helps decouple the capsule from mechanical vibration and handling noise. An internal windscreen helps reduce wind noise and plosive pops during close vocal use. Gold-plated electrical contacts are used at the transmitter connection point for a dependable interface.

The V7 MC1 is built for portable professional use with a zinc-alloy housing and a stainless spring-steel grille. Its beveled grille design helps keep a handheld transmitter from rolling when set down. Install the V7 MC1 by removing the existing capsule from a compatible Shure handheld wireless transmitter and threading the V7 MC1 into place according to the transmitter and capsule instructions. It is not compatible with Shure BLX or GLX-D handheld transmitter series. A transmitter, receiver, batteries, and the rest of the wireless system are required separately.
