RØDE WIRELESS PRO BLACK Compact Wireless Microphone System

The RØDE Wireless PRO is a dual-channel compact wireless microphone system designed for filming, interviews, livestreams, mobile content, and computer-based recording. It gives creators a practical way to capture two wireless sources while keeping the setup compact and portable. The included receiver can connect to cameras, smartphones, tablets, and computers.

This system is intended for creators who need dependable dialogue capture from on-camera talent, presenters, or interview subjects. Each transmitter has an integrated omnidirectional microphone and a locking 3.5mm TRS input for an external lavalier. Two Lavalier II microphones are included for a more discreet, clothing-mounted recording setup.

RØDE Series IV 2.4 GHz digital transmission provides a stated line-of-sight range of up to 260m and uses 128-bit encryption. The system is built for clear spoken-word capture, with a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range and a 123.5 dB SPL maximum handling level. Its dual-channel design supports recording two transmitters through one receiver.

Each transmitter includes 32GB of internal memory for more than 40 hours of 32-bit float backup recording. This format provides additional flexibility when recovering recordings that were captured too loudly or too quietly. Intelligent GainAssist, flexible receiver output gain, and a safety-channel option further support direct-to-camera workflows.

Built-in timecode capability helps align audio and video during post-production without requiring a separate timecode system. The receiver also supports headphone monitoring through its 3.5mm TRRS connection, while USB-C provides digital connectivity and charging. The included charge case protects the system, recharges the transmitters and receiver, and supports high-speed data transfer when used with a compatible SuperSpeed USB-C cable.

Design & Installation

The Wireless PRO uses compact transmitter and receiver units with integrated clips for clothing, camera mounting, and portable use. Each transmitter and the receiver have rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, while the receiver includes an LCD display for system information and settings navigation. The supplied smart charge case stores the three main units together and provides two complete recharges for the transmitters and receiver.

For camera recording, connect the receiver to a camera's audio input with the included 3.5mm TRS cable or use USB-C when the camera supports USB audio. For phones and tablets, use the included USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to Lightning cable as appropriate; for computers, connect the receiver by USB-C and select Wireless PRO RX as the audio input. Clip the transmitters directly to clothing, use the included MagClip GO mounts for magnetic placement, and attach the included furry windshields when recording outdoors.
