RØDE WIGOGEN3PIN Wireless GO Gen 3 Wireless Mic System

The RØDE Wireless GO (Gen 3) is a dual-channel compact wireless microphone system for capturing dialogue, interviews, presentations and creator content without running long microphone cables. This pink WIGOGEN3PIN kit includes two transmitters and one receiver, allowing two people to be recorded through one system. It is designed for use with cameras, smartphones, tablets and computers.

Each transmitter has an integrated omnidirectional microphone, so it can clip directly to clothing for a simple wearable setup. A locking 3.5mm TRS input on each transmitter also supports a compatible external lavalier microphone when a more concealed mic placement is needed. The system's 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range is intended to capture full-range spoken audio.

RØDE Series IV 2.4 GHz digital transmission carries audio from the transmitters to the receiver with 128-bit encryption. The specified wireless range is up to 260 m line of sight, giving creators room to work away from the camera or recording device. The receiver supports two channels for recording two speakers with a single compact receiver.

For backup recording, each transmitter includes 32 GB of internal memory and can record 32-bit float audio on board for more than 40 hours. This provides a separate local recording that can be exported later and helps preserve recordings that were captured too quietly or clipped. GainAssist, output gain adjustment and a safety-channel option provide additional level-management tools for direct-to-camera recording.

The receiver connects digitally through USB-C and has a 3.5mm TRRS analog output for camera connection, headphone monitoring or audio input. A bright LCD and onboard controls make status and setting adjustments accessible in the field. The included SC33 charging hub, USB-C to USB-C cable, USB-C to Lightning cable and 3.5mm TRS cable support common camera, computer and mobile recording workflows.

Design & Installation

The Wireless GO (Gen 3) uses small clip-on transmitter and receiver units, each measuring 46.5 mm wide by 44 mm long by 20 mm high. The transmitters weigh 35 g each and the receiver weighs 36 g, helping keep the system unobtrusive on clothing or a camera rig. This WIGOGEN3PIN version has a pink finish and includes three furry windshields for reducing wind noise when the built-in microphones are used outdoors.

For a camera setup, connect the receiver's 3.5mm TRRS output to the camera using the included SC2 3.5mm TRS-to-TRS cable and mount or position the receiver near the camera. For phones, tablets and computers, connect the receiver through USB-C using the supplied USB-C cable or Lightning cable where applicable. Clip each transmitter close to the speaker's mouth, attach a windshield when needed, and use the SC33 hub to charge or connect the three units together.
