The RØDE Wireless GO (Gen 3) is a compact dual-channel wireless microphone system for recording two people with cameras, smartphones, or computers. It is designed for creators, interviewers, mobile journalists, and videographers who need a portable way to capture dialogue without running a microphone cable to the subject. This blue WIGOGEN3BLU package includes two transmitters and one receiver for two-person recording setups.

Each transmitter has an integrated omnidirectional microphone and can also accept an external microphone through its locking 3.5mm TRS input. The microphone system covers a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range, with a maximum SPL rating of 123.5 dBSPL. Its 22 dBA equivalent noise rating and 72 dB signal-to-noise ratio support clear spoken-word capture in typical production environments.

RØDE Series IV 2.4 GHz digital transmission carries audio from the transmitters to the receiver with 128-bit encryption. The specified line-of-sight wireless range is up to 260 m, allowing the microphone subjects to work farther from the camera or recording device when the environment permits. The receiver supports analog connection through its 3.5mm TRRS output and digital connection through USB-C.

For backup recording, each transmitter has 32GB of internal storage and supports 32-bit float on-board recording. This gives users a separate recording source that can be adjusted in post-production when a take is unexpectedly too loud or too quiet. GainAssist, adjustable output gain, a safety-channel mode, and a two-stage high-pass filter provide additional control over recording levels and low-frequency rumble.

The Wireless GO integrates easily into a portable video, streaming, interview, or desktop recording workflow. Design & Installation

The system uses compact transmitter and receiver units, each measuring 46.5 mm wide, 44 mm long, and 20 mm high. Each transmitter weighs 35 g, while the receiver weighs 36 g. RØDE does not publish a housing-material specification, but the blue finish distinguishes this WIGOGEN3BLU version within the Wireless GO (Gen 3) range.

For camera use, connect the receiver to the camera audio input with the included SC2 3.5mm TRS-to-TRS cable and select an appropriate output level. For phones and computers, connect by USB-C with a compatible cable; a Lightning cable is included for compatible Lightning-equipped devices. Use the supplied furry windshields outdoors, monitor through the receiver's 3.5mm TRRS port when needed, and charge all three units together with the included SC33 charging hub.
