The Ortofon STYLUS ELITE is a replacement stylus made specifically for the Concorde Elite cartridge. It restores the cartridge’s intended tracking and playback characteristics when the original stylus is worn or damaged. Designed for listeners and DJs using the Concorde Elite system, this stylus combines a nude elliptical diamond tip with a rigid aluminum-magnesium cantilever. The stylus assembly uses a specially molded body with genuine gold plating. Beyond its distinctive finish, the assembly is designed to maintain the Elite cartridge’s mechanical setup and specified tracking geometry. The stylus itself weighs 1 g.

A nude elliptical diamond reduces moving mass compared with a bonded stylus design. This supports accurate groove tracing and helps the stylus retrieve high-frequency information specified for the Elite system. The STYLUS ELITE combines a real gold-plated molded stylus housing, nude elliptical diamond, and aluminum-magnesium cantilever. Its diamond tip has an r/R radius of 8/18 µm, while the specified tracking angle is 20°. The stylus is designed as a precision replacement assembly rather than a universal needle.

Install it only on a compatible Ortofon Concorde Elite cartridge body. Carefully remove the existing stylus and fit the replacement without touching the diamond tip or cantilever, then set tracking force to 3.0 g; the approved range is 2.0 to 4.0 g. Confirm the turntable can accommodate the required force and follow the turntable and cartridge setup instructions before playing records.
