Its tailored response includes a presence-focused midrange and bass rolloff for practical live use. A built-in spherical grille, pop filter, and pneumatic shock mount help reduce wind, breath, and handling noise.

SLX-D+ uses 24-bit digital audio with a dynamic range greater than 118 dB. The transmitter offers a 138 MHz tuning range in the G57 band, providing flexibility when coordinating channels across venues and regions. Its integrated single-band helical antenna and digital RF transmission are built for professional wireless workflows.

When paired with compatible SLX-D+ receivers, the transmitter supports Automatic Setup and ShowLink Ease remote control. Engineers can remotely adjust transmitter frequency and power, lock or unlock controls, and perform firmware updates through the linked receiver. Wireless Workbench desktop software and the WWB Mobile app provide additional monitoring and control options through compatible receiver configurations.

The SLXD2+/58 is housed in aluminum for regular stage and production use. It runs for up to 8 hours on the included pair of AA batteries, with support for the optional Shure SB903 lithium-ion rechargeable battery and compatible charging accessories. The transmitter uses an aluminum housing with an integrated single-band helical antenna and a black handheld finish. No vehicle installation, speaker wiring, or external audio cable is required at the transmitter itself.
