The sE Electronics V7 MC1 WHITE is a replacement dynamic microphone capsule designed to bring the sound character of the V7 vocal microphone to compatible Shure handheld wireless transmitters. It is intended for singers, presenters, and live-performance users who want to customize or upgrade the capsule on an existing wireless handheld. The capsule itself is not a complete wireless microphone system and requires a compatible Shure transmitter.

Its supercardioid pickup pattern is designed to focus on the performer while reducing pickup from nearby stage sound. The DMC7 dynamic capsule uses an aluminum voice coil and neodymium magnet assembly for a clear, open vocal presentation. This makes it well suited to live vocals and speech where articulation and controlled off-axis pickup are important.

The V7 MC1 WHITE has a 40 Hz to 19 kHz frequency range, 2.0 mV/Pa sensitivity, and 300-ohm electrical impedance. Its integrated shockmount helps isolate the capsule from mechanical vibration for lower handling noise during handheld use. An internal windscreen helps reduce wind noise and plosive sounds.

For working stages and touring setups, the capsule combines a durable zinc-alloy chassis with an all-metal beveled spring-steel grille. The grille’s beveled edge helps keep a handheld transmitter from rolling when set down. Gold-plated contacts support a dependable connection between the capsule and compatible transmitter.

This white version provides a coordinated appearance with compatible Shure handheld systems while retaining the V7 MC1 platform’s practical serviceability. It fits compatible Shure handheld transmitters except BLX and GLX-D series models. A black internal windscreen, protective pouch, and thread cover are included for transport and setup flexibility.

Design & Installation

The V7 MC1 WHITE uses an all-metal design with a durable zinc-alloy chassis and beveled spring-steel grille. The grille is designed to resist dents and corrosion, while the white finish gives the capsule a distinct appearance on stage. Its compact capsule dimensions measure 54 mm in diameter and 92 mm long.

Installation consists of removing the existing capsule from a compatible Shure handheld transmitter and fitting the V7 MC1 in its place according to the transmitter and capsule instructions. Confirm that the transmitter is a supported Shure handheld model before purchase, as BLX and GLX-D series transmitters are excluded. Use the included thread cover and MP03 protective pouch when transporting the removed or installed capsule.
