The sE Electronics V7 MC1 RED is a replacement dynamic microphone capsule made for compatible Shure handheld wireless transmitters. It gives performers a way to change the vocal capsule on an existing wireless handheld instead of replacing the entire wireless system. This red version combines the V7 MC1 platform with a distinctive finish for stage identification or visual coordination.

Designed for vocals and speech, the V7 MC1 uses a supercardioid pickup pattern to focus on the performer while reducing pickup from surrounding stage sound. Its 40 Hz to 19 kHz frequency range and aluminum voice coil are engineered for clear, detailed vocal reproduction. The directional pattern can also help provide useful isolation in monitor-heavy live environments.

The capsule uses a dynamic design with a neodymium magnet and 300-ohm electrical impedance. Its integrated shockmount helps reduce mechanical vibration and handling noise that can reach the sound system through a handheld transmitter. An internal windscreen helps reduce wind noise and plosive sounds during close vocal use.

This model connects directly to compatible Shure handheld wireless transmitters, excluding the BLX and GLX-D series. It is also specified as compatible with Audio-Technica 3000 Series wireless systems. The capsule itself is not a complete wireless microphone, so a compatible transmitter, receiver, and audio system are required for operation.

Design & Installation

The V7 MC1 RED has an all-metal housing with a durable zinc-alloy chassis and a beveled spring-steel grille.
