sE Electronics ISOLATION PACK Shock Mount & Pop Filter

The sE Electronics ISOLATION PACK combines a microphone shock mount and an integrated metal pop filter for cleaner vocal and spoken-word recording. It is designed to reduce mechanical vibration reaching the microphone while helping control plosive air bursts. The result is a more controlled recording setup without adding a separate pop screen to the mic stand.

This accessory is intended for owners of compatible sE Electronics large-diaphragm microphones, including X1 Series and sE2200 Series models. It is useful for home studios, project studios, podcast spaces, voiceover setups, and other close-miking applications. The pack gives a compatible microphone a more complete recording-ready mounting solution.

The shock mount helps decouple the microphone from stand-borne vibration, handling noise, and low-frequency rumble. Its quick-release mechanism lets the user insert or remove a compatible microphone with a twist rather than conventional mounting screws. This can make microphone changes and storage more convenient in active recording spaces.

The adjustable metal pop filter is built into the assembly but can be removed when it is not needed. Its shaped, perforated metal screen redirects low-frequency breath blasts away from the capsule area while preserving vocal detail. Unlike a fabric screen, the metal filter is durable and can be cleaned after regular studio use.

Design & Installation

The ISOLATION PACK uses a black shock-mount assembly with an all-metal adjustable pop filter. The metal screen is shaped to direct low-frequency air blasts to the sides rather than directly toward the microphone. Its durable construction is intended for repeated positioning and regular studio handling.

Install the pack on an appropriate microphone stand, then use the quick-release mechanism to secure a compatible microphone. Position the pop filter in front of the microphone for vocals and speech, adjusting its height as needed; remove it when a pop screen is unnecessary. This accessory is a physical mounting and filtering solution and does not require power, signal wiring, or software setup.
