The PHA-50 keyboard combines wood sides with durable molded materials, along with escapement and ebony/ivory-feel key surfaces. With 88 keys, it offers the complete range needed for traditional piano repertoire and modern keyboard parts.

A four-speaker system provides onboard sound for everyday playing without requiring external amplification. The system includes two main speakers and two dome tweeters, driven by separate rated output stages for full-range playback. Headphones Acoustic Projection is also included for a more spacious headphone-playing experience.

The FP-90X can serve as the center of a flexible practice, performance, or recording setup. Bluetooth audio lets users play music through the piano speakers, while Bluetooth MIDI and USB MIDI/audio support connections to compatible mobile devices and computers. Add an optional stand and pedal unit for a more furniture-style setup, or use a portable keyboard stand and pedals for transportable playing.

The FP-90X-BK uses a streamlined portable-piano chassis with a black finish, integrated control panel, graphic LCD, sliders, and dedicated performance controls. Its PHA-50 keyboard combines wood and molded material construction, with escapement and ebony/ivory-feel surfaces. The instrument includes a removable music rest and a DP-10 damper pedal with continuous detection.

Place the piano on a stable keyboard stand or compatible optional dedicated stand before connecting the included AC adaptor and power cord. For home use, Roland offers the optional KSC-90 stand and KPD-90 pedal board; portable setups can use compatible keyboard stands and the optional RPU-3 pedal unit.
