The RØDE RCDUO-W RØDECaster Duo is a compact all-in-one audio production studio for podcasting, streaming, music production, and content creation. It combines microphone preamps, a mixer, recording tools, processing, monitoring, and computer connectivity in one desktop console. Its white finish provides a clean alternative for creator workspaces and production setups.

Designed for one- or two-person productions, the RØDECaster Duo accepts microphones, instruments, line-level sources, headsets, wireless microphones, Bluetooth devices, and USB audio sources. Two Neutrik combo inputs give creators flexible analog connections without requiring a separate interface. Dual USB-C connectivity supports workflows with computers or compatible mobile devices.

RØDE Revolution preamps provide up to 76dB of gain with an equivalent noise rating of -131.5dBV A-weighted. This gives low-output dynamic microphones substantial available gain while maintaining a low-noise signal path. The unit also supports instrument and line-level sources through its combo inputs.

Four physical faders, virtual channel controls, a 5.5-inch HD touchscreen, rotary encoder, and six SMART pads provide direct control over a production. Built-in APHEX processing includes tools such as compression, EQ, de-essing, noise gating, Aural Exciter, and Big Bottom processing. Reverb and echo effects are also available for supported channels.

The RØDECaster Duo can record stereo or multitrack audio to microSD media, a USB-C storage drive, or a connected computer. Its integrated RØDE Series IV wireless receiver can connect up to two compatible wireless transmitters, reducing the need for separate wireless receivers. Balanced line outputs and two headphone outputs make it suitable as the central control point for a compact recording or streaming system.

Design & Installation

The RØDECaster Duo is a compact desktop production console with a white chassis, four broadcast-style physical faders, six programmable SMART pads, tactile controls, and a 5.5-inch high-definition touchscreen with haptic feedback. Its rear panel groups the combo inputs, balanced line outputs, headphone outputs, USB-C connections, Ethernet port, power connection, and microSD card slot for organized system integration. The unit weighs 1,131g and measures 235mm wide by 225mm deep by 76mm high.

Place the unit on a stable desk or production surface with room for connected microphones, headphones, monitor speakers, and USB devices. Use the included power adaptor and USB-C cable for basic computer operation, then connect microphones or instruments to the two combo inputs and headphones to the 1/4-inch outputs or front TRRS headset input. For standalone recording, add a compatible microSDHC/microSDXC card or a USB-C removable drive formatted as exFAT with a minimum 100MB/s write speed.
