Mogami GOLD STAGE-50 50 Ft XLR Microphone Cable $194.95
Bundle total: $821.45

The Mackie Thump210 is a compact 10-inch powered loudspeaker designed for portable PA, performance, presentation, and playback applications. Its self-powered design combines amplification, speaker drivers, input mixing, and signal routing in one enclosure. This makes it a practical option for users who need a straightforward sound system without carrying a separate power amplifier.

Built for mobile DJs, musicians, small venues, bars, schools, houses of worship, and event setups, the Thump210 can serve as a main PA speaker or a floor monitor. Its compact cabinet is easier to place where larger loudspeakers may be impractical. The built-in pole socket and wedge-shaped monitor position add placement flexibility for different setups.

The Thump210 uses a 10-inch ferrite woofer and a 1-inch polymer compression driver powered by Class-D amplification. Mackie rates the system at 1400 watts peak, with a 127 dB maximum peak SPL and a 52 Hz to 23 kHz frequency range at -10 dB. This configuration is intended to provide broad vocal and music reproduction in a compact powered enclosure.

A built-in two-channel mixer helps connect common live-sound sources directly to the speaker. Channel 1 accepts mic or line-level signals through its XLR/TRS combo input, while channel 2 provides an XLR/TRS line input and a 1/8-inch stereo line input. A balanced XLR Thru output carries the mixed input signal to another compatible loudspeaker.

The Thump210 includes practical processing for spoken-word and performance use. Music Ducking automatically lowers channel 2 when a microphone signal is present on channel 1, while the Feedback Eliminator applies automatic notch filters to help control feedback. For expanded systems, it can be paired with a mixer, additional Thump loudspeakers, or a compatible powered subwoofer with high-pass outputs.

Key Features

  • 1400W Peak Class-D Amplification: Provides self-powered operation without a separate external amplifier.
  • 10-Inch Two-Way Design: Combines a ferrite woofer with a 1-inch compression driver.
  • Built-In Two-Channel Mixer: Connect microphones, instruments, mixers, and media devices directly.
  • Music Ducking: Lowers channel 2 automatically during speech on channel 1.
  • Feedback Eliminator: Uses automatic notch filters to help manage feedback.
  • Balanced XLR Thru Output: Sends the mixed signal to another compatible speaker.

Design & Installation

The Thump210 uses a compact, portable cabinet with a built-in bottom pole socket and a 40-degree monitor angle for floor-wedge use. Its 10-inch woofer uses a ferrite magnet, and its 1-inch compression driver uses a polymer diaphragm. The cabinet is intended for portable professional sound applications and weighs 25.4 pounds.

Connect sources with XLR, 1/4-inch TRS, or 1/8-inch stereo line cables as appropriate, then use the rear-panel gain and main-volume controls to establish levels. For a standard PA setup, mount the speaker on a properly rated pole or use it on the floor as a monitor; it is not designed for suspended rigging. When using a subwoofer, connect the mixer or source to the subwoofer first and route its high-pass output to the Thump210.
