Mackie SRT212 12" Powered Professional Loudspeaker

The Mackie SRT212 is a self-powered 12-inch professional loudspeaker made for portable PA, DJ, presentation, rehearsal, and stage-monitor applications. Its built-in amplification and onboard digital mixer reduce the amount of external equipment needed for straightforward sound reinforcement. It is intended for users who need a compact full-range speaker with direct microphone, line-level, instrument, aux, and Bluetooth playback options.

A 12-inch low-frequency driver and 1.4-inch polymer compression driver cover a broad 44 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range. The system is rated for 132 dB peak SPL, supporting clear projection in live and event environments. Its 90-degree horizontal by 60-degree vertical coverage is designed to distribute sound across a defined listening area.

The SRT212 uses a 1600-watt peak Class-D amplifier platform, with separate low- and high-frequency amplifier sections. Advanced Impulse DSP processing provides crossover and time-alignment functions for the transducers. The integrated protection system uses peak and RMS limiting along with power-supply and amplifier thermal protection.

SRT Mix Control provides a built-in four-channel digital mixer with two combo XLR/TRS input channels, a stereo 1/8-inch auxiliary input, and Bluetooth audio streaming. Channel 2 can accept a high-impedance instrument signal through its 1/4-inch input, helping simplify small singer-songwriter setups. A full-color rear display and single rotary control provide access to levels, EQ, voicing, delay, crossover, and system settings.

For larger systems, the SRT212 includes individual XLR direct outputs and an XLR mix output for feeding additional speakers or a subwoofer. It can be used on a pole, placed on its angled cabinet as a 45-degree floor monitor, or installed using its M10 flypoints. Bluetooth linking and the SRT Connect app allow compatible SRT speakers to be controlled and linked wirelessly for stereo or dual-zone use.

Design & Installation

The SRT212 uses an asymmetrical black polypropylene enclosure with a light textured finish. Its front grille is made from 16-18 gauge perforated steel with nylon net backing and a powder-coated black finish. The cabinet includes two side handles and a partial top handle for transport.

Connect the included detachable IEC power cord to a properly grounded AC outlet, then connect microphones, mixers, instruments, or playback devices to the appropriate inputs. Use the dual-angle pole mount for elevated placement or place the cabinet on its angled side for monitor use. For installed applications, use the M10 flypoints with appropriate compatible rigging hardware and follow the manufacturer’s installation guidance.
