Flat provides a balanced default response, while Deep emphasizes lower bass extension and Punch prioritizes higher output. A Variable mode provides adjustable crossover selection from 80 Hz to 160 Hz for matching a wider range of top speakers.

Stereo balanced XLR inputs support connection from a mixer or other line-level source. Stereo high-pass XLR outputs can feed powered top speakers while routing low frequencies to the subwoofer, and stereo full-range outputs can pass signals to additional equipment. A stereo/mono full-range output option also supports practical multi-subwoofer deployment.

The THUMP115S is a professional PA subwoofer rather than a conventional 12-volt car-audio subwoofer. It uses AC mains power and balanced XLR audio connections, making it appropriate for portable PA, DJ, stage, and installed sound applications with compatible line-level equipment. Its integrated M20 threaded pole mount can support a compatible speaker pole for positioning top speakers above the subwoofer.

Design & Installation

The THUMP115S uses a compact powered-subwoofer format with integrated top-corner carrying handles and a 15-inch ferrite low-frequency driver. Its Class-D amplifier uses convection cooling, and the front power LED can be switched off when a less visible stage appearance is preferred. The cabinet includes an integrated M20-threaded pole mount for a compatible loudspeaker pole.

Place the subwoofer on a stable floor or stage surface; it is not designed for suspension or for mounting the subwoofer itself on a pole. Connect balanced line-level signals from a mixer to the XLR inputs, then use the high-pass outputs to feed compatible powered top speakers when desired. Use the Variable crossover setting from 80 Hz to 160 Hz when matching the system manually, and leave clearance behind the cabinet for ventilation.
