The KENWOOD KMM-BT332U is a Single DIN digital media receiver for vehicles that need modern Bluetooth, USB, and radio capability without a CD mechanism. Built-in Bluetooth supports wireless music streaming and hands-free calling through the included external microphone. The receiver can maintain connections for two phones and supports KENWOOD Music Mix for switching among up to five Bluetooth audio devices. Front-panel USB and auxiliary inputs provide direct wired options for compatible smartphones, portable players, and USB storage devices.

The internal amplifier is rated at 22 watts x 4 channels across the full bandwidth at less than 1% THD, with a 50 watts x 4 maximum-power rating. A 13-band equalizer, digital time alignment, Drive EQ, and selectable sound adjustments allow the system to be tailored to the vehicle and speakers. For expansion, the KMM-BT332U includes front, rear, and subwoofer preamp outputs rated at 2.5 volts. The receiver also has an expansion port for a separately purchased SiriusXM Vehicle Tuner and subscription.

A 255-segment 1.5-line text display and variable-color illumination provide source and track information while allowing the lighting to better match the dashboard. Amazon Alexa operation is supported through a Bluetooth-connected smartphone running the Alexa mobile app. As a digital media receiver, this model does not play CDs and does not include Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

This receiver fits a standard Single DIN radio opening and is intended for 12-volt negative-ground vehicles. The supplied installation hardware includes the faceplate, trim plate, mounting sleeve, wiring harness, and two extraction keys; vehicle-specific mounting hardware, a wiring interface, antenna adapter, and steering-wheel-control adapter may be needed depending on the vehicle. Use the front/rear/subwoofer preouts when adding external amplifiers, and use a separately purchased SiriusXM Vehicle Tuner and subscription for satellite radio.
