The JVC KD-X380BTS is a Single DIN digital media receiver for vehicles that need modern phone connectivity without a CD mechanism. It combines AM/FM radio, Bluetooth, USB playback, a front auxiliary input, and SiriusXM readiness in a compact chassis. For stored music, the KD-X380BTS plays MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, and FLAC files from compatible USB mass-storage devices. The USB connection provides up to 1.5 amps of charging current for a connected device. Amazon Alexa compatibility and JVC Remote app compatibility add smartphone-based control options where supported.

A two-line VA LCD display provides source and track information, while two-zone variable-color illumination lets the controls better match a vehicle interior. The detachable faceplate offers a measure of theft deterrence when parked. SiriusXM capability is available with a separately purchased compatible SiriusXM Vehicle Tuner and subscription.
