JVC KD-T925BTS Single DIN CD Receiver with Bluetooth

The JVC KD-T925BTS is a Single DIN CD receiver for drivers who want modern phone connectivity while retaining CD, AM/FM radio, auxiliary, and USB listening options. It fits a standard Single DIN dashboard opening and provides a practical upgrade for vehicles with an older factory radio. A detachable faceplate, front USB input, rear USB lead, and front auxiliary input support a range of everyday media sources.

Built-in Bluetooth supports hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming, helping keep compatible smartphones connected without occupying the front USB port. The receiver can maintain full-time connections with two phones for calls and supports JVC Streaming DJ for up to five Bluetooth audio devices. A supplied wired microphone supports hands-free calling, while iPhone USB connection can initiate automatic Bluetooth pairing.

The KD-T925BTS uses a built-in four-channel amplifier rated at 22 watts RMS per channel across the full bandwidth at less than 1% THD. Its 13-band graphic equalizer, selectable high-pass and low-pass filters, and digital time alignment provide useful adjustment for factory-replacement speakers or a more developed aftermarket system. K2 Technology, Sound Response, Sound Lift, Space Enhancement, and Volume Link EQ offer additional sound-processing choices.

For expanded systems, this receiver has three pairs of 5-volt RCA preamp outputs for front, rear, and subwoofer channels. The higher-voltage outputs are suited to connection with external amplifiers, while the configurable crossover supports both 2-way and 3-way system layouts. It can also drive compatible 4- to 8-ohm speakers directly from its internal amplifier.

A two-line VA LCD display provides source and track information, with white LCD text and variable-color button illumination. The two illumination zones can be adjusted independently, and the receiver includes auto dimming and brightness control for changing cabin light conditions. SiriusXM readiness, Amazon Alexa compatibility, JVC Remote app compatibility, RBDS radio data, and steering-wheel-control readiness add integration options when the required compatible equipment or apps are used.

Design & Installation

The KD-T925BTS has a compact Single DIN chassis with a detachable faceplate, physical control buttons, a rotary volume knob, and a two-line VA LCD display. Its white display text is paired with variable-color key illumination and independent two-zone color control. The unit includes a trim plate and mounting sleeve for conventional in-dash installation.

Installation requires a 12-volt negative-ground vehicle electrical system and a 10-amp fuse. The supplied wiring harness connects power, ground, illumination, speakers, amplifier remote turn-on, power antenna, and steering-wheel-control adapter wiring as applicable. A vehicle-specific dash kit, wiring harness adapter, antenna adapter, steering-wheel-control interface, external amplifier, SiriusXM tuner, and remote control may be needed depending on the vehicle and desired setup.
