JVC KW-Z900W Single DIN 9" HD Digital Media Receiver

The JVC KW-Z900W is a digital media receiver designed to bring a large, high-definition touchscreen and current smartphone integration to vehicles with a standard single-DIN radio opening. Its 9-inch floating display provides a larger interface for navigation, music, calls, and compatible vehicle functions without requiring a conventional in-dash screen. It is a practical upgrade for drivers replacing an older radio or adding modern connectivity to a custom audio system.

Wireless and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto let compatible phones handle familiar navigation, communication, and entertainment apps through the receiver. Built-in Wi-Fi supports wireless smartphone connections, while Bluetooth 5.3 provides hands-free calling and audio streaming. The included wired microphone helps position the microphone closer to the driver for calls.

For sound-system upgrades, the KW-Z900W includes a built-in four-channel amplifier rated at 22 watts x 4 at less than 10% THD. Three 3-volt RCA preout pairs provide front, rear, and subwoofer outputs for connection to external amplifiers. A 13-band graphic EQ, time alignment, and selectable crossover functions provide useful adjustment for factory-speaker replacements or more developed aftermarket systems.

The capacitive 9-inch HD display uses a 1280 x 720 panel with an anti-fingerprint, anti-glare surface. Its floating mechanism allows display angle and position adjustment to help accommodate different dashboards and viewing preferences. The compact 7-inch-wide chassis keeps the rear section closer to standard receiver dimensions while the screen extends above the dash opening.

The receiver is equipped for camera, video, satellite-radio, and vehicle-integration expansion. It supports a dedicated rear camera input, an HD rear camera input, HDMI input, USB media playback, and SiriusXM readiness with the required optional tuner. Compatible iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 hardware can add supported factory-control and vehicle-information retention in applicable vehicles.

The KW-Z900W combines a compact single-DIN chassis with a separate 9-inch floating monitor. The display has a TFT active-matrix panel, LED backlighting, and an anti-fingerprint, anti-glare touch surface. Blue key illumination, dimming capability, and English, Spanish, and French display-language support round out its everyday interface design.

Confirm both chassis fitment and screen clearance before installation, since the floating display may interfere with dash controls, vents, or trim in some vehicles. Vehicle-specific mounting hardware, wiring adapters, antenna adapters, steering-wheel-control interfaces, cameras, amplifiers, and SiriusXM equipment are sold separately as needed.
