The Jackson JS Series Concert Bass JS3V is a right-handed, 5-string electric bass designed for players who need extended low-range capability in a familiar solid-body format. Its 35-inch scale length supports the low B string while retaining a long-scale playing feel. The Metallic Blue Burst finish and black hardware give it a distinct stage-ready appearance without changing the instrument's core function.

This bass is suited to players moving from four strings to five, as well as musicians who need lower notes for modern rock, metal, gospel, funk, or other full-range arrangements. The poplar body keeps the platform straightforward and resonant, while the bolt-on maple neck provides a traditional serviceable construction. A fully bound neck and sharkfin inlays complete the Concert Bass visual profile.

Two covered Jackson high-output humbucking pickups provide the JS3V with a strong, focused bass signal. Independent neck and bridge volume controls let players balance the pickups, while the active three-band EQ offers bass, middle, and treble adjustment from the instrument. This layout supports everything from a weighty low-end foundation to more defined, mid-forward bass lines.

The amaranth fingerboard uses a 12-inch to 16-inch compound radius that is rounder near the nut and flatter higher on the neck. This profile is intended to keep lower-position fretting comfortable while providing a flatter surface for upper-register runs. With 24 jumbo frets, the instrument offers two full octaves of range on each string.

A Jackson HiMass bridge and sealed die-cast tuning machines provide the core hardware platform for the JS3V. The JS3V uses a gloss-finished poplar Concert Bass body with a satin-finished maple neck. Its bolt-on neck includes graphite reinforcement and a scarf joint, along with white binding on both the neck and pointed 5-in-line headstock. Black hardware, black pickup covers, dome-style control knobs, and pearloid sharkfin inlays complement the Metallic Blue Burst finish.

As an electric bass, the JS3V is intended to be connected to a compatible bass amplifier, DI, audio interface, or pedal setup using an instrument cable. The neck pickup, bridge pickup, and active EQ are adjusted from the onboard controls; no pickup selector is fitted. A truss-rod wrench and saddle-height wrench are specified, while a case or gig bag is sold separately.
