The Jackson JS Series Concert Bass JS2 is a right-handed, four-string electric bass designed for players who want a full-scale instrument with straightforward controls and a focused low-end voice. Its 34-inch scale length and Concert Bass body shape suit practice, rehearsals, recording, and stage use. The Satin Black finish and black hardware give it a clean, performance-oriented appearance.

A poplar body keeps the instrument's construction centered on a lightweight tonewood platform, while the bolt-on maple neck provides a familiar electric-bass feel. Graphite reinforcement and a scarf joint are part of the one-piece neck construction. The neck is paired with an amaranth fingerboard for a smooth fretting surface.

The 12-inch to 16-inch compound-radius fingerboard is designed to transition from a more rounded feel near the nut to a flatter feel higher on the neck. With 24 jumbo frets, the JS2 provides two full octaves of range per string. Pearloid sharkfin position inlays add clear visual reference points along the fingerboard.

Two Jackson covered high-output humbucking bass pickups provide the instrument's HH pickup configuration. Separate neck and bridge pickup volume controls allow players to blend the two pickup positions, while the master tone control adjusts the overall high-frequency response. This layout keeps sound shaping direct and easy to manage from the instrument.

The Jackson HiMass bridge and sealed die-cast tuning machines complete the bass with durable, gig-ready hardware. It works well as the core instrument in a bass rig with an external bass amplifier, speaker cabinet or combo, and standard instrument cable. A case is not included, so players planning to transport the instrument should choose a compatible bass gig bag or case separately.

The JS2 uses a poplar Concert Bass body, a one-piece maple neck, and an amaranth fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets. Its satin-finished body and neck, black pickup covers, black hardware, pearloid sharkfin inlays, pointed four-in-line headstock, and dome-style control knobs create a cohesive Jackson design. There is no pickguard.

Set up the bass with its factory NPS .045-.105 gauge strings or a suitable replacement set for a 34-inch-scale four-string bass. Connect the side-mounted output jack to an external bass amplifier or audio interface with an appropriate instrument cable, then use the two volume controls and master tone to set the pickup blend. Use a suitable case or gig bag for transport because one is not included.
