Gravity VGR-M101CP 10.1" Single DIN Wireless CarPlay Stereo

The Gravity VGR-M101CP is a single-DIN digital media receiver designed to bring a large touchscreen interface to vehicles with a standard 1-DIN radio opening. Its 10.1-inch floating display provides a larger viewing area for compatible smartphone functions, media controls and camera viewing without requiring a double-DIN dash opening. Physical volume, home and back controls remain accessible alongside the touchscreen.

This receiver is well suited to drivers upgrading from a factory radio who want wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. Compatible phone navigation, calls, messaging and music functions can be accessed through the display while keeping the phone connected wirelessly. CML-Play MirrorLink adds compatible phone screen-mirroring capability.

For everyday listening, the VGR-M101CP uses a built-in 4 x 60-watt maximum amplifier rated for 240 watts maximum system power. Integrated DSP settings provide bass, treble, balance, fader, loudness and mute adjustment, while selectable Pop, Rock, Classic and Jazz presets offer quick tonal changes. Bluetooth A2DP supports hands-free calling and wireless music playback.

The receiver supports USB, SD and MMC media playback from storage devices up to 64GB. It displays compatible ID3 tag information and supports common audio, image and video file formats, including 1080P video playback. A PLL AM/FM tuner with auto seek, auto store and 40 station memories provides conventional radio listening alongside digital media sources.

Expansion connections make the VGR-M101CP appropriate for a broader audio and parking-camera upgrade. It includes an AHD rear-view camera input, steering-wheel-control interface, subwoofer output, dual RCA audio output, dual video output and AUX input. The included ISO harness and single-DIN mounting sleeve support installation, while an external microphone can be connected when preferred.

Design & Installation

The VGR-M101CP combines a compact single-DIN chassis with a floating 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen and physical front-panel controls. Its chassis uses fins to help manage operating heat, while the display offers 1024 x 600 resolution for touchscreen control, media viewing and compatible smartphone interfaces. RGB auto-changing button illumination adds adjustable-looking visual integration with a vehicle dashboard.

Installation requires a vehicle with a standard single-DIN radio opening and appropriate vehicle-specific mounting, wiring and dash-fit accessories as needed. The package includes an ISO wiring harness and single-DIN mounting sleeve, while the radio provides connections for compatible AHD camera, steering-wheel-control, external microphone, AUX and RCA-equipped audio components. An external amplifier or powered subwoofer may be connected through the available audio outputs where appropriate.
