Set the throne height to suit the player and place it on a stable surface. Attach the RDH-100 to a compatible Roland kick trigger pad, install the supplied beater, and adjust its height so it meets the center of the trigger surface; the included shock absorbers are fitted to the kick pad or bass drum as directed in the pedal manual.
