The Rockford Fosgate RNGR18-ROOF4M2 is a front-and-rear overhead audio roof designed for select 2018-and-newer Polaris Ranger Crew four-door models. It combines the source unit, amplifier, full-range speakers, subwoofers, lighting, and roof structure in one vehicle-specific assembly. This approach provides a complete audio upgrade without building a system from separate universal components.

This system is intended for Ranger Crew owners who want amplified music coverage for both front and rear passengers while preserving usable cabin space. Its roof-mounted layout keeps the audio equipment elevated above the seating area and away from low-mounted splash zones. Direct use of OEM mounting locations helps create an integrated installation on compatible vehicles.

The audio package includes eight 8-inch M2 Color Optix marine coaxial speakers and two 10-inch M2 Color Optix subwoofers. The speaker array is designed to cover midrange and high-frequency output throughout the cabin, while the dual subwoofers add low-frequency reinforcement. A Rockford Fosgate M5-1500X5 five-channel amplifier powers the integrated system.

A PMX-3 digital media receiver provides AM, FM, weather-band, USB, auxiliary, Bluetooth audio streaming, backup-camera input, and SiriusXM-ready capability. Its 2.7-inch color TFT display and physical controls are positioned within the roof assembly for accessible operation. The receiver also provides preamp capability and audio adjustment features for the integrated system.

Element Ready construction addresses outdoor exposure from water, salt, UV, vibration, and changing conditions associated with powersports use. Integrated Color Optix multicolor lighting can be adjusted through the included plug-and-play lighting controller and compatible RF Connect app. The roof can also serve as a foundation for later expansion with the optional RNGR18-FWE subwoofer enclosure or RNGR18-CAPM2 loaded rear audio cap.
