The Rockford Fosgate T1675-S is a 6.75-inch, 2-way component speaker system designed for replacing factory front speakers with separately mounted woofers and tweeters. Its external crossover networks divide the audio signal between the drivers, helping place high frequencies closer to the listener rather than low in the door. This layout is well suited to vehicle owners who want a more focused front soundstage than a coaxial speaker arrangement typically provides.

Each system includes two 6.75-inch woofers, two 1-inch treated-fabric dome tweeters, and two external crossovers. The woofers use injection-molded carbon-fiber-filled polypropylene cones with butyl-rubber VAST surrounds. Together, these elements are intended to provide controlled midbass response while the separate tweeters handle upper-frequency detail.

The T1675-S is rated for 100 watts RMS and 200 watts peak power per side at a nominal 4-ohm impedance. Its 55 Hz to 22 kHz frequency response and 89 dB sensitivity rating make it appropriate for a properly matched aftermarket amplifier or a system designed around clean, moderate power. The speaker system is CEA-2031 power-handling compliant.

Rockford Fosgate uses a StampCast steel woofer basket with FlexFit mounting slots, which allow a degree of adjustment during installation. VAST, or Vertical Attach Surround Technique, increases effective cone area without enlarging the basket. The treated-fabric dome tweeters use neodymium motor structures and can be flush or surface mounted.

This component set is a practical choice for a front-stage upgrade in vehicles with room for separate tweeters and crossover placement. Included Multi-OEM adapter plates can be modified for certain 5x7-, 6x8-, and 6x9-inch openings, while the supplied grilles support custom installations. The T1675-S uses injection-molded carbon-fiber-filled polypropylene woofer cones, butyl-rubber surrounds, and rigid StampCast steel baskets. Its 1-inch treated-fabric dome tweeters use neodymium motor structures, while the external crossover networks use 5% tolerance components. Grilles, trim rings, and mounting hardware are included for custom or replacement-speaker installations.

Confirm available mounting space before purchase: each woofer requires a 5.68-inch mounting cutout and 2.51 inches of mounting depth. The tweeters can be flush mounted or surface mounted, with angled surface-mount positions available. Connect each woofer and tweeter through its supplied crossover, and use an amplifier or source compatible with the system's nominal 4-ohm load.
