Rockford Fosgate TMS69BL9813 6x9" Saddlebag Speaker Kit

The Rockford Fosgate TMS69BL9813 is a rear saddlebag-lid speaker retrofit kit for select 1998-2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycles. It adds a pair of 6x9-inch coaxial speakers to compatible factory hard saddlebags, providing a way to expand a fairing audio system without replacing the bag lids. The kit includes the cutting templates, mounting parts, grilles, and harnesses needed for the saddlebag installation.

This kit is intended for riders building a Rockford Fosgate motorcycle audio system with rear speakers. Its direct-connect harness is designed to integrate with compatible Rockford Fosgate compact-chassis Punch and Power amplifiers rather than factory Harley-Davidson amplifiers. If retaining a factory Harley-Davidson head unit, the factory radio needs to be flashed for use with this kit.

Each included TMS69 speaker is a 6x9-inch, 2-way coaxial design rated for 100 watts RMS and 200 watts peak. A carbon-fiber-reinforced polypropylene cone and Santoprene VAST surround support midbass output, while the 1-inch film-dome tweeter handles high frequencies. The 4-ohm speakers have a specified frequency response of 56 Hz to 20 kHz.

Element Ready construction is designed for the environmental exposure associated with motorcycle use, including dust, UV light, temperature changes, water, corrosion, and vibration. The speaker assembly uses an ultra-high-temperature glass-reinforced polymer frame, while the kit uses painted stamped-steel grilles with ASA plastic frames. A sandwich-clamping gasket arrangement helps seal the speaker installation at the saddlebag lid.

The TMS69BL9813 is designed for factory Harley-Davidson hardshell saddlebag lids on specified touring motorcycles. The included cutout guides and two-piece mounting system allow the speakers to be fitted into existing lids rather than requiring pre-cut or color-matched replacement lids. Leave at least 2 inches of clearance below each speaker magnet when packing the saddlebags.

Installation requires cutting the existing factory saddlebag lids with the supplied templates, then mounting the grille, mounting ring, and speaker with the included hardware. The main harness routes to a compatible Rockford Fosgate compact-chassis Punch or Power amplifier, with individual saddlebag harnesses routing inside each bag. This kit is for compatible ABS plastic factory lids; fiberglass lids are not supported, and some CVO, Screaming Eagle, Tour-Pak, and H-D Power Lock applications may require modification or may not be compatible.
