Rockford Fosgate RNGR18-ROOF2M2 8" Ranger Audio Roof

The Rockford Fosgate RNGR18-ROOF2M2 is a vehicle-specific front audio roof designed for select 2018-and-newer Polaris Ranger two-door models. It combines a roof assembly, four 8-inch speakers, a digital media receiver, and a five-channel amplifier into one integrated system. This approach provides an audio upgrade without requiring separate speaker pods, amplifier mounting, and source-unit fabrication.

This system is intended for Ranger owners who want onboard music playback while retaining a roof-mounted layout. Its four M2-8B Color Optix 8-inch coaxial speakers are positioned overhead, helping keep the audio components elevated from mud and standing water encountered during off-road use. The included PMX-3 receiver supports Bluetooth audio streaming as well as AM, FM, weather-band, USB, and auxiliary sources.

An M5-1500X5 five-channel Element Ready amplifier supplies the system's amplification. The amplifier uses full-range channels for speaker operation and retains a dedicated subwoofer channel for a compatible future expansion. Its preset capability is designed to simplify setup when used in Rockford Fosgate vehicle audio packages.

The RNGR18-ROOF2M2 uses Color Optix multicolor LED lighting at the speakers. A built-in lighting controller works with the RF Connect app for color and lighting-effect adjustment. The roof also includes an integrated driver/passenger LED dome light and six rocker switches for system and accessory functions.

Fitment and installation are purpose-built for compatible two-door Ranger models, using factory mounting locations with minimal disassembly and drilling. The assembly includes a blank rear cap for structural support and can be expanded with the optional RNGR18-CAPM2 rear audio cap or RNGR18-FWE 10-inch subwoofer enclosure. The roof is a one-piece, vehicle-specific audio solution with sport-grille-equipped M2-8B speakers, an integrated dome light, and protected electronics. The included M2 speakers use UV-stable materials, corrosion-resistant terminals, sealed crossover networks, and integrated RGB lighting connections. The M5 amplifier is IPX6 rated and uses an Element Ready chassis with protected wiring connections.

Installation is designed to bolt into compatible Ranger OEM mounting locations and uses a plug-and-play layout with minimal drilling or vehicle disassembly. The roof is prewired for a 30- to 40-inch LED light bar and uses rocker switches for main power, backup camera, cargo lights, dome light, rear audio, and light-bar functions. For proper operation on Ranger models with power windows, the roof's main power switch must remain on while the vehicle ignition is on.
