Rockford Fosgate RNGR18-DK Ranger PMX Dash Kit

The Rockford Fosgate RNGR18-DK is a vehicle-specific dash kit made to install a compatible PMX digital marine source unit in select 2018 and newer Polaris RANGER models. It replaces the factory storage-pocket area with a purpose-built mounting location for the audio source unit. This provides a cleaner, more integrated way to add a Rockford Fosgate PMX-1, PMX-2, or PMX-3 receiver to a compatible UTV.

This kit is intended for RANGER owners building or expanding an off-road audio system with Rockford Fosgate components. Its gauge-mount layout supports the compact PMX receiver format rather than a conventional Single DIN or Double DIN chassis. The source unit is not included, allowing the system to be configured around the preferred compatible PMX model.

As an installation component, the RNGR18-DK does not add power, alter audio tuning, or determine speaker output. Instead, it provides the mounting foundation for the receiver that manages music playback and system control. Its direct-fit approach helps retain a factory-style appearance while placing the compatible receiver in the dash.

The dash bezel is custom molded, textured, and color matched to complement the RANGER interior. Injection-molded Centrex plastic construction with integrated UV inhibitors is designed for outdoor powersports use. The kit also uses vehicle-specific fitment and OEM mounting-hole locations to support an orderly installation.

The RNGR18-DK can serve as the starting point for a Rockford Fosgate RANGER audio upgrade, including speaker enclosures, amplifiers, and subwoofer solutions sold separately. It includes the required dash and receiver adapter bezels, a wiring harness, antenna, and mounting hardware. Design & Installation

The RNGR18-DK uses a black, textured dash bezel designed to coordinate with the factory RANGER interior. Its injection-molded Centrex plastic construction incorporates UV inhibitors, while the matching adapter bezel secures the selected compatible PMX source unit. The finished installation is designed to provide a close, gap-free fit between the kit and dash.

Install the kit only after confirming application fitment for the specific RANGER model and installed dash equipment. The dash bezel mounts through OEM mounting holes and includes a 750 mm, 16 AWG, 7-connector wiring harness plus a 1,870 mm PMX antenna. Mount the selected PMX-1, PMX-2, or PMX-3 using the included adapter bezel and hardware, and follow the applicable Rockford Fosgate installation instructions.
