Pioneer DMH-241EX 6.2" Double DIN Digital Media Receiver

The Pioneer DMH-241EX is a Double DIN digital media receiver built for drivers who want touchscreen control, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB media playback without adding a disc player. Its 6.2-inch resistive touchscreen brings source selection, radio controls, audio settings, and connected-device functions into a compact in-dash format. It is designed for vehicles with a compatible Double DIN radio opening and appropriate installation hardware.

Built-in Bluetooth supports hands-free phone calls and wireless audio streaming, helping keep commonly used phone functions accessible through the receiver. The included external microphone supports clearer call pickup when installed near the driver. Up to five phones can be registered to the receiver for shared-vehicle convenience.

For music playback, the DMH-241EX supports USB storage devices and a broad selection of audio formats, including high-resolution FLAC and WAV files. Its 24-bit digital-to-analog converter, built-in DSP, 13-band graphic equalizer, loudness settings, and HPF/LPF crossover controls provide practical tuning tools for factory-replacement and aftermarket speaker systems. The internal four-channel MOSFET amplifier is suited to directly powering compatible 4- to 8-ohm vehicle speakers.

The receiver is also ready for a rear-view camera through its dedicated camera input. When properly wired to the vehicle reverse signal and a compatible camera, the display can automatically switch to the rear camera view when reverse is selected. A rear video output is also provided for a separately installed rear-seat display.

For system expansion, the DMH-241EX provides front, rear, and subwoofer RCA preamp outputs with 2-volt output. This allows connection to external amplifiers while retaining onboard audio controls and subwoofer adjustment. WebLink 2.0 and Pioneer Vozsis compatibility add smartphone-based features, including Amazon Alexa capability when used with the compatible apps.

The DMH-241EX uses a fixed-face Double DIN chassis with a 6.2-inch 16:9 resistive touchscreen and physical front-panel controls. Its compact chassis measures approximately 7 inches wide by 3-7/8 inches high by 4-3/8 inches deep, helping it fit installations where rear clearance is limited. The screen and fixed-face layout are intended for conventional in-dash mounting rather than detachable-face security use.

Installation requires a vehicle-specific dash kit and wiring interface when needed for the vehicle, plus antenna and steering-wheel-control adapters where applicable. The receiver includes a wiring harness, preout/AV harness, microphone, remote control, and mounting screws; a backup camera, RCA cables, mini-jack AV cable, and steering-wheel-control adapter are separate items where required. Confirm dashboard opening, mounting depth, factory-camera retention requirements, and vehicle wiring compatibility before installation.
