The receiver has a double-DIN display with a shallow, L-shaped rear chassis, and it can be configured for a 1-DIN installation by removing the supplied side and rear brackets. A rear-view camera input, steering-wheel-control readiness with a compatible third-party adapter, and optional RM-RK259 remote compatibility help it integrate into a broad range of vehicle upgrades.

The chassis is sized for a 178 x 100 mm double-DIN opening while preserving space behind the dash for wiring and vehicle-specific integration hardware.

Professional installation is recommended for safe mounting and wiring. The unit is supplied with a 1.0 m USB lead and supports 1-DIN installation after the designated brackets are removed; vehicle-specific dash kits, wiring harness adapters, antenna adapters, steering-wheel-control adapters, and cameras may be needed depending on the vehicle.
