The JVC KW-M795BW is a double DIN digital media receiver built to modernize a vehicle with smartphone integration, HD touchscreen control, and expanded audio-system connectivity. Its 6.92-inch display gives drivers a clear central interface for compatible phone apps, music, calls, maps, cameras, and radio. It is designed for vehicles that have a compatible double DIN dashboard opening and appropriate installation hardware.

Wireless and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto let compatible smartphones connect in the way that suits the drive. Bluetooth supports hands-free calling and audio streaming, while the rear USB connection can charge a compatible device at up to 2.1A. Wi-Fi capability also supports wireless smartphone integration and compatible wireless mirroring functions.

The 1280 x 720 HD display uses a TFT active-matrix panel with LED backlighting for sharp map, camera, and media visuals. A Type-D HDMI input provides another path for compatible external video sources and phone mirroring when the required optional cable and adapter are used. The receiver also supports USB playback of common audio and video file formats.

For sound-system upgrades, the KW-M795BW combines a 13-band graphic equalizer, digital time alignment, and configurable crossovers. Its built-in amplifier is rated at 50 watts maximum per channel, with a typical 22 watts per channel output at less than 10% THD. Three 3-volt RCA preouts support separate front, rear, and subwoofer amplifier connections.

Camera and vehicle-integration provisions make this receiver suitable for more complete dashboard upgrades. It has a dedicated rear-camera input, an assignable AV/front-camera input, and support for an HD rear camera signal. With an optional iDatalink Maestro interface in compatible vehicles, it can access supported factory audio sources, vehicle settings, and vehicle-information displays.

The KW-M795BW uses a compact 178 x 100 x 109 mm chassis designed for double DIN installation. Its TFT active-matrix screen uses RGB-striped pixels and LED backlighting, while the reduced chassis depth leaves more room behind the dashboard for wiring and integration hardware. A front-panel control layout is paired with touchscreen operation for everyday use.

Professional installation is recommended because vehicle fitment, wiring, steering-wheel-control retention, cameras, and factory-system integration can require vehicle-specific parts. The supplied installation accessories include a wiring harness, external microphone, GPS antenna, and mounting screws. Connect external amplifiers through the RCA preouts, connect compatible cameras to their designated inputs, and use an optional Maestro interface or SiriusXM tuner only when needed for the intended system.
