JBL Wind 3S 1.5" Handlebar Bluetooth Speaker

The JBL Wind 3S is a compact 1.5-inch Bluetooth speaker designed to bring music to bicycle and motorcycle handlebars. Its included dock and handlebar bracket provide a dedicated place for the speaker instead of carrying it in a pocket or bag. The slim, removable design lets riders dock the speaker for a trip and undock it when they arrive.

Built for riders and other active listeners, the Wind 3S streams wirelessly from Bluetooth-enabled phones, tablets, and similar devices. It is a self-powered portable speaker, so it does not require connection to a vehicle head unit or amplifier for music playback. Bluetooth 5.0 support and A2DP/AVRCP profiles provide wireless audio streaming and playback control compatibility.

The speaker uses a 43 x 47 mm transducer and delivers 5 watts RMS output. JBL provides two EQ selections to tailor the sound to the setting. Sport mode is intended for outdoor use, while Bass mode is intended for indoor listening. A long press of the play/pause control switches between the two modes, keeping adjustment accessible from the speaker itself.

The Wind 3S is rated IP67 for waterproof and dustproof protection, making it suitable for changing outdoor conditions. Its rechargeable 1050 mAh battery provides up to 5 hours of music play time, depending on volume and audio content. Its weather-resistant IP67 design is intended for portable outdoor use, while the removable dock arrangement keeps the speaker separate from the mount when needed. Physical controls include power, Bluetooth, volume, track navigation, and play/pause functions.

Install the included mounting bracket on a bicycle or motorcycle handlebar using the supplied bracket hardware and non-slip pads, then dock the speaker into place. Pair it with a Bluetooth-enabled source device for wireless playback, and use the included USB cable to recharge the battery. Do not charge the speaker when wet, and remove the cable before exposing the speaker to liquids.
