The Hertz CAPRI H100 is a marine-grade digital media receiver designed to centralize music, radio, and multi-zone audio control on a boat. Its compact panel-mount format combines a 4.3-inch color display, physical controls, and a built-in Class-D four-channel amplifier. It is intended for vessels using a negative-ground 12V electrical system.

For boaters who want more than a basic stereo, the CAPRI H100 provides independent signal outputs for up to four listening zones. Each zone has its own stereo RCA line output and dedicated subwoofer output, making it suitable for systems that use external amplifiers, multiple speaker areas, or separate subwoofer channels. Adjustable high-pass and low-pass crossover settings help organize those system connections.

The receiver supports Bluetooth 5.1 streaming with LDAC, AAC, aptX HD, and ID3 tag display, along with USB playback and Apple device compatibility through USB. AM/FM radio with RDS, Weather Band reception, an auxiliary RCA input, and digital S/PDIF input provide multiple source options. SiriusXM readiness and DAB+ readiness allow compatible optional tuner modules to be added where applicable.

Its audio platform includes a native 24-bit/96 kHz DSP, an 8-band equalizer for each zone, and eight EQ presets. The built-in amplifier is rated at 4 x 70 watts maximum output at 2 ohms, while the RCA outputs provide a path for expanded amplified systems. A color TFT IPS display with dimming controls supports operation in changing daylight and nighttime conditions.

The CAPRI H100 is built for exposed marine helm locations, with an IP67-rated front panel and stated UV and salt-fog resistance standards. It can also accept a camera input, display battery voltage, and work with compatible Hertz remote-control options. This makes it a flexible source unit for new marine installations or for upgrading a boat with multi-zone audio and higher-resolution digital connectivity.

Design & Installation

The CAPRI H100 uses a panel-mount design with a 4.3-inch color TFT IPS display, front-panel controls, and a supplied silicone cover. Its front panel is rated IP67, while Hertz also states ASTM-D4329 UV resistance and ASTM-B117 salt-fog operability. Sealed connection points help support its use in marine audio installations.

Installation requires a negative-ground 12V vessel electrical system and four mounting screws. Allow space behind the mounting surface for the chassis and wiring harness, and use the specified 122 x 52 mm mounting opening and 99 mm mounting depth as applicable. The supplied power/speaker harness connects power, ground, ACC, four speaker channels, remote output, antenna power, dimmer trigger, and camera trigger wiring.
