Gretsch G2420T Streamliner Hollowbody Electric Guitar

The Gretsch G2420T Streamliner is a right-handed, single-cut hollowbody electric guitar finished in Midnight Sapphire. Its fully hollow laminated maple construction is intended for players who want the resonance and response of a large-body electric guitar. The guitar pairs classic hollowbody form with modern control flexibility for home practice, recording, rehearsals, and stage use.

A pair of Broad'Tron BT-3S humbucking pickups provides the instrument's amplified voice. These pickups use Alnico 5 and Alnico 2 magnets and are designed to deliver focused mids, full lows, and clear highs. The humbucking design also helps reduce the noise commonly associated with single-coil pickups.

The G2420T uses individual neck and bridge pickup volume controls, plus master tone and master volume controls. A three-position toggle selects the bridge pickup, both pickups, or the neck pickup. The push/pull master-volume control splits the pickup coils for an alternate, leaner single-coil-style voicing.

An Adjusto-Matic bridge with a secured laurel base works with the Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece. This arrangement supports controlled vibrato effects while retaining the guitar's traditional hollowbody appearance. Die-cast sealed tuning machines and a real bone nut complete the functional hardware package.

The set Nato neck has a soft C profile, a 24.75-inch scale length, and a 12-inch-radius laurel fingerboard. Its 22 medium-jumbo frets and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays provide a familiar electric-guitar playing surface. It can be used with a compatible guitar amplifier, pedalboard, recording interface, or other instrument-level guitar rig.

The G2420T has a gloss-finished, fully hollow Streamliner body made from laminated maple, with arched laminated maple top and back. Aged-white binding with black/white/black purfling, nickel hardware, a three-ply tortoise pickguard, and pearloid thumbnail inlays give it a traditional Gretsch-inspired visual character. The Midnight Sapphire finish distinguishes this specific model variation.

No permanent installation or vehicle-style wiring is required. Connect the guitar to a compatible guitar amplifier, effects processor, or instrument input using an appropriate guitar instrument cable, then use the pickup selector, individual volumes, master tone, and master volume to set the desired sound.
