Gretsch G2655T Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with Bigsby

The Gretsch G2655T Streamliner Center Block Jr. is a right-handed semi-hollow electric guitar with a compact double-cutaway body and Tropico finish. It is designed for players who want semi-hollow character in a more manageable body size. Its chambered center-block construction helps provide a focused amplified response while retaining the resonance associated with a semi-hollow design.

This model is equipped with two Broad'Tron BT-3S humbucking pickups, giving it a humbucker-based voice for clean, driven, and higher-gain amplifier settings. Individual neck and bridge volume controls, a master tone control, and a master volume provide practical control over pickup balance and overall output. A push/pull function on the master volume splits the pickup coils for a brighter single-coil-style option.

The 24.75-inch scale length, soft "C" nato neck, and 12-inch-radius laurel fingerboard create a familiar electric-guitar playing platform. Twenty-two medium-jumbo frets provide room for chord work, riffs, and lead playing. A real bone nut and set-neck construction complete the core playing feel.

An anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge works with the Bigsby B50 vibrato tailpiece for expressive pitch movement. The bridge is fixed in position while the Bigsby is used for subtle vibrato effects and controlled pitch shading. Die-cast sealed tuning machines support routine tuning adjustments.

Design & Installation

The G2655T uses an arched laminated maple top and back with aged-white binding and B/W/B purfling. Its gloss Tropico finish is paired with nickel hardware, a cream pickguard with gold Gretsch logo, and Gretsch Radio control knobs. The set nato neck has a gloss finish, aged-white neck and headstock binding, pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, and black side dots.

This is a passive electric guitar and connects to a guitar amplifier, pedalboard, audio interface, or other instrument-level input using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable. Set the pickup selector and individual pickup volumes to blend the two pickups, then use the master tone and master volume for final adjustment.
