Gretsch G2622 Streamliner Center Block Electric Guitar

The Gretsch G2622 Streamliner Center Block Double-Cut is a right-handed, six-string semi-hollow electric guitar finished in Forge Glow. Its 16-inch-wide arched laminated maple body uses a chambered center block to add structure and help manage feedback at amplified playing levels. It is designed for players seeking the feel and visual character of a double-cut Gretsch-style instrument with flexible electric-guitar controls.

A pair of Broad'Tron BT-3S humbucking pickups provides the guitar's amplified voice. Gretsch specifies a magnet combination of Alnico 5 and Alnico 2 for the BT-3S set, with pronounced midrange, full low end, and clear highs. Individual neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, and a master volume provide hands-on adjustment from the guitar.

The master-volume control includes a push/pull coil-split function for alternate pickup voicings. A three-position toggle selects bridge pickup, both pickups, or neck pickup. This layout gives players a practical range of sounds for clean passages, driven amp settings, rehearsals, recording, and stage use.

The set nato neck has a Soft "C" profile, 24.75-inch scale length, and gloss finish. Design & Installation

The G2622 uses an arched laminated maple top and back with laminated maple body construction, aged-white binding, and B/W/B purfling. Its double-cutaway center-block body is 1.75 inches deep and includes F-holes, a three-ply tortoise pickguard with gold Gretsch logo, nickel hardware, and pearloid thumbnail fingerboard inlays. The body, neck, and headstock binding are finished in aged white, while the body and neck have gloss finishes.

No vehicle-style installation or external power wiring is required. Fit a compatible guitar strap to the standard strap buttons, tune the factory-fit .010-.046 strings, and connect a standard instrument cable from the guitar output to an amplifier, pedalboard, or instrument-level recording input.
