The Gretsch G2420T Streamliner is a right-handed, single-cutaway hollowbody electric guitar finished in Brandywine. It is built for players seeking the resonance and visual character of a full hollowbody with flexible modern controls. Its laminated maple construction and 2.75-inch-deep body provide the acoustic openness associated with this style of guitar.

Dual Broad'Tron BT-3S humbucking pickups give the G2420T a full electric voice with strong midrange, controlled low end, and clear highs. A three-position toggle selects the bridge pickup, both pickups, or the neck pickup. Individual pickup volume controls, master tone, and master volume provide practical control over levels and tonal balance.

The master-volume control includes a push/pull coil-split function. This expands the pickup options beyond the standard humbucking settings for players who want a leaner single-coil-style response. It makes the guitar suitable for clean rhythm work, driven chords, and lead parts without changing instruments.

A Nato set neck uses a Soft "C" profile, paired with a 24.75-inch scale length and a 12-inch-radius laurel fingerboard. The fingerboard carries 22 medium-jumbo frets, pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, and a bone nut. An Adjusto-Matic bridge and Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece support intonation adjustment and expressive pitch movement.

The G2420T works well as the hollowbody foundation of an electric-guitar rig using a standard guitar amplifier and instrument cable. Its full hollow construction is especially relevant for players who want natural resonance in their sound. A case or gig bag can be added separately for transport and storage.

The G2420T combines a gloss Brandywine finish with aged-white binding, black/white/black purfling, nickel hardware, and a three-ply tortoise pickguard with a gold Gretsch logo. Its arched laminated maple top and back, parallel tone bars, and single-cutaway Streamliner hollowbody shape create its distinctive construction. Pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays and Gretsch radio knobs complete the instrument's traditional visual details.

No vehicle-style installation or external wiring is required. Fit the supplied nickel-plated .010-.046 strings to the factory setup as needed, connect the guitar to an appropriate guitar amplifier with a standard instrument cable, and use the pickup selector, individual volumes, master tone, and push/pull master volume to set the sound. Optional Gretsch G2420T hardshell and G2162 hollowbody gig bag options are available separately for carrying the instrument.
