Zoom PCF-8n Protective Case for F8n, F8 & F4

The Zoom PCF-8n is a protective production case designed for Zoom F8n, F8, and F4 MultiTrack Field Recorders. It keeps the recorder accessible during location work while helping shield it from rain, dust, and everyday handling. The case is intended for field recordists, production sound teams, videographers, and other users who need to carry a recorder and essential accessories together.

Its water-resistant construction and detachable clear-windowed cover let users view the recorder display while keeping the unit covered. Openings at the top, sides, and bottom support operation without requiring the recorder to be removed from the bag. This helps maintain an organized, ready-to-record workflow when moving between setups.

The PCF-8n is built around practical access rather than changing the performance of the recorder it carries. Drawstring side sleeves provide access to recorder inputs and outputs while helping limit exposure to the elements. A bottom Velcro flap also allows access to the rear area of the compatible recorder and can be used for cable routing.

Storage is integrated for the accessories commonly needed on a recording day. The zippered front pouch and side pockets hold small connectors and accessories, while the main compartment can store microphones and cables. Adjustable dividers allow the interior to be arranged around a user's recorder and supporting gear.

For portable use, the PCF-8n includes adjustable straps and three latch hooks on each side for selectable carry positions. Its removable main divider can be positioned sideways to create a tabletop-style working surface when the recorder is used outside the case. Design & Installation

The PCF-8n uses lightweight, water-resistant construction with a removable clear-windowed cover for protected monitoring. Its interior includes adjustable dividers, including a main divider that can be repositioned sideways as a tabletop-style work surface. External storage includes a zippered front pouch, side pockets, and a main compartment for larger accessories.

Place a compatible Zoom F8n, F8, or F4 recorder inside the case and arrange the dividers around the recorder and accessories. Route connected cables through the side drawstring sleeves and use the bottom Velcro flap when rear access or additional cable routing is needed. Adjust the straps and select from the three latch hooks on each side to suit the preferred carry position.
